Ok, one more and then to bed..

I just had to share this, for nothing else than the comments. I am really pissed that Spitzer is falling from grace. I was really hoping he’d save this doomed country in 2012 by becoming our President. Now it looks like his career in politics is over. As for the indirect effects of supporting an illegal business, and the direct problem of engaging in illegal activity, well, that’s a problem. Sure, prostitution should be legal all over. But it’s not, and well, when you make a living busting lawbreakers, you kinda have to be careful which laws you break, right? But then, nobody’s perfect. So which laws should he have been breaking instead? Child abuse? Tax evasion? Drunk driving? Extortion?

My favorites include:

To all who don’t have the facts straight. Barney Frank had a male prostitute running a prostitution ring out of Frank’s DC home. Frank is still in office.

What kind of low hanging, knuckle dragging Fox News, The NY Post, and Murdoch zealots are now part of the WSJ’s most articulate readers and commenter’s? It didn’t long to turn this journal into TMZ of Financial world. Thanks Rupert!

Spitzer should have inoculated himself by developing a reputation for banging the occasional prostie before he attained national prominence. Look how it worked for Clinton.
