On BBC UK they said the new season would start this spring. Spring has sprung, and damn if they haven’t already aired TWO new episodes on BBC. Yet BBC America acts like there’s no such thing as Series Three. FUCK!!!! Here’s their response to my desperate plea for more Dr. Who:
“Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We’re delighted to learn
you’ve been enjoying BBC America’s “Doctor Who” and are always pleased to
hear from our loyal viewers. Please know that “Doctor Who” has aired
several times in it’s entirety on BBC America. Unfortunately, we regret to
inform you that at this time, there are no plans to air new episodes of
“Doctor Who” on BBC America in the immediate future. However, please rest
assured that BBC America takes the opinions of viewers such as yourself
very seriously and, as such, we will forward your suggestion on to the
appropriate department(s).”
I’ve since posted an ad on CL London asking for someone to burn me each episode, in exchange for some US shows. If that doesn’t work, I may just have to go to Europe once a week to watch it. This is killing me. I can’t even find the episodes on youtube or limewire. boooohooo!
Stupid BBC America.
